| Economics for Energy was led by two university professors (from the Pontifical Comillas and Vigo Universities) and had several affiliate academics and representatives of the associated research centers. |

| The creation of knowledge was carried out by conducting research projects, by postgraduate training and with a postdoctoral research program. All research activities were conducted with academic rigor and lead to academic publications. |
