The workshop will take place in the Gran Hotel de La Toja in the beautiful island of A Toxa, in the Galician region of Northwestern Spain. The area is well known due to its impressive sea landscapes and beaches, with local food mainly based in sea products and the outstanding Galician white wines. Since the early 20th century, the hot springs in the island have attracted visitors from all over Spain and Portugal. The end of June is one of the best times to enjoy A Toxa and the south of Galicia, due to a mild weather. During the workshop we will organize a boat trip to explore the nice coastal surroundings.
How to arrive in A Toxa
A Toxa is relatively close to two Galician airports: Vigo and Santiago de Compostela. However, it would be also possible to travel through the bigger Porto airport. The best way to reach A Toxa would be through a taxi from the airport (about 75 € from the Vigo airport), although the organization may provide transportation at certain (peak) times.
